Lucio Altana was the hearthrob manager of San Lorenzo for many years before opening this chic, high-end venue on Fulham Road. Monochorme stills of movies stars grace the cool, horseshoe-shaped dining room, which has polished parquet floors, soft upholstered chairs and large windows (partially screened from the street by bubbled glass).
The menu ploughs a North Italian furrow, taking in carpaccio of tuna, balsamic-dressed pear and Pecorino salad, oxtail ravioli, char-grilled fillet of wild sea bass with minted courgettes, fillet steak with rocket salad and other like-minded staples.
