Lucknam Park Review

A mile-long, tree-lined driveway creates a suitably grand first impression for visitors to this magnificent Palladian mansion. The building itself dates from 1720 and stands majestically in 500 acres of parkland, yet is only six miles from Bath. Lucknam Park puts on a grand and elegant country house show, although it now also incorporates a health spa, gymnasium and notable equestrian centre.

Formal meals are served in what was once the original ballroom – a sumptuous setting complete with a fabulous hand-painted ceiling, crystal chandeliers and fine views across the park.
