Maenan Abbey Hotel Review

Built as a gentleman's residence in 1850 on the site of an historic thirteenth-century Cistercian monastery, Maenan Abbey Hotel is surrounded by beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Snowdonia National Park.

A splendid galleried Victorian staircase and a blazing winter log fire create an immediate sense of welcome and comfort. Once settled in, you can mingle with the regulars in the bar, where snacks and light meals are served.

For the full works, the restaurant overlooking the grounds is just the place to sample local produce including Conwy crab and Welsh Black beef.
