A strikingly renovated old riverside warehouse on the city's trendy Quayside is the setting for this contemporary brasserie in the Malmaison Hotel. A curving candlelit stairway opens through a heavy velvet drape to the dining room, where bold colours and decadent fabrics create a striking atmosphere. Rich leather banquettes and solid wood-topped tables in discreet bays reinforce the mood.

The menu has its share of brasserie classics like moules marinière, goujons of lemon sole with tartare sauce, and rump steak with frites, as well as some more innovative ideas with a Mediterranean accent.
