'Absolutely first class food that has remained consistent for some years,' was one UK Restaurant Guide user's verdict on this long-standing Italian restaurant in a quaint brick and thatched building.
The kitchen delivers a decent range of trattoria staples, including 'home made pasta, fabulous fish and the most delicious carpaccio I have ever had anywhere and that includes the Cippriani in Venice.' Also look for crispy roast duck in orange and black cherry sauce, and suprême of chicken with Dolcelatte, tarragon and Marsala.
