Following a spectacular transformation, the old Marquis of Granby pub in the heart of the Alkham valley has morphed into the Marquis at Alkham, a striking contemporary restaurant with five luxury bedrooms to boot. The old interior has been brightened up with fine furnishings and beautiful fabrics to create a touch of boutique chic in the heart of the Kent countryside.

Chef Charles Lakin worked at the formerly Michelin-starred Star at Harome and also the Feversham Arms in Yorkshire and he is now turning foodie heads in Kent with his exciting modern British food.
