Metro Bar and Grill Review

Set up in 1997, Metro was one of the front-runners for the city's bar/brasserie revolution. It stands deep in the city's commercial centre, and the bar heaves with hordes of suited types – especially when 'happy hour' comes around.

Beyond the bar is the main restaurant, a cool contemporary space with mirrors and abstract artwork on the walls and a spotlit glass roof.
