The much-vaunted dining room on the tenth floor of the auspiciously celeb Royal Garden Hotel has been give an awesome facelift and transformed into Min Jiang, a spectacular Chinese restaurant serving fascinating regional food.
If you can drag yourself away from the fantastic views across Kensington Gardens and the surrounding cityscapes you'll be seduced by high-gloss, high-glamour surroundings - black and white portraits on red walls, etched characters, and striking blue and white vases artfully arranged around the dining room.
Head chef Lan Chee Vooi cooked at the Goodwood Park Hotel in Singapore before taking up duties here, and his speciality is traditional Beijing duck roasted in a special wood-fired oven and carved at the table.
