Occupying a prime spot on the North Norfolk coast, this flint-walled Jacobean mansion is surrounded by lovely, well-tended gardens. Inside it is full of flowers and paintings – especially in the conservatory and restaurant, which are at he heart of the set-up.

Chef and co/owner Galton Blackiston has a Michelin star under his belt and his cooking is full of self-assured style and commendable details.
