Suave, Istanbul-born Seyhan Azek is the driving force behind this relaxed, friendly and unpretentious Turkish restaurant in the centre of Edinburgh. Simple decor (note the Byzantine-themed murals) and cheery staff add to the mood of the place, and the menu is an authentic run through the staples of the cuisine with some innovative add-ons.
Hot and cold mezze kick off the show - anything from hummus with chopped lamb to slices of Turkish sucuk sausage or dana sogus (char-grilled strips of marinated steak in a spicy lemon and coriander dressing).
