Tim Golder and family have given this fourteenth-century listed building (formerly Il Giardino) a new lease of life as a colourful and atmospheric Mediterranean restaurant. Earthy abstract canvases decorate the classy dining room and there's a verdant terrace for al fresco meals.
Dishes from Spain and Italy dominate the lengthy menu – Serrano ham and Manchego cheese with rocket salad, zarzuela (Spanish fish stew), fillet of monkfish with a crust of sun-dried tomatoes, basil and garlic, and wild mushroom tagliatelle, for example.
