Osteria dell'Angolo is a new venture from restaurateur Claudio Pulze, a swish Italian celebrating the classics of Valdarnese Valley cuisine, and bringing a taste of Tuscany to the streets of Westminster. An exclusive lounge bar with chesterfield-style high-back chairs is just the spot for an aperitif before moving through to the split-level dining room, which boasts clean lines, elegant fittings and a window looking into the kitchen.
Chef Massimiliano Vezzi recreates the food of his home region, with a rustic tasting menu inspired by dishes from his 'mamma's' kitchen - think braised salted cod and potato with tomato sauce, tagliatelle with duck stew, and traditional apple cake.
