It can feel like 'happy hour' all the time in the cacophonous café/bar at the front of Ozer, a svelte restaurant by the BBC near Oxford Circus. Ozer caught the London mood perfectly when it first opened and put on a real show with its blood-red walls, sea of sumptuous cushions and concentric copper light fittings.
Since then, it has become part of the Sofra group, and some of the more exotic, so-called 'modern Ottoman' specialities have fallen by the wayside.
