The Partridge Inn Review

The Partridge Inn is a traditional 16th century pub located in the pretty village of Singleton, not far from the Goodwood Racecourse. It is the sibling of the well regarded Earl of March in Lavant, also owned by the former executive head chef of the Ritz, Giles Thompson. Once known as the Fox and Hounds, the pub has been sympathetically refurbished and is full of character with wood beams, flagstone floors and a real log fire sets the cosy picture.

Seasonal menus are based around well-chosen ingredients for perfectly executed classic pub fare and could include starters of prawn and crayfish cocktail, Marie Rose or chicken liver, smoked bacon and port pate, berry compote, and toasted soda bread.
