The flagship London branch of the international Patara chain is a striking, upmarket venue that has been designed to resemble a traditional Thai pavilion, complete with chiselled sandstone walls, ornately carved palm wood columns and luxurious red seating. Clever ambient illumination comes from candles and spotlights, but the real focal point is a huge gold-tinted model of a Thai palace.

This is now one of the most accomplished Thai restaurants in London, offering food that is authentic, ambitious and innovative when it matters.
