A visually spectacular venue high on the fourth floor of the Canada Square building, Plateau is a futuristic glass structure with views across the lawns and sculptures of Canada Square Park. Swivel chairs under Italian marble tables and David Mellor cutlery add a touch of retro nostalgia to proceedings.
The formal restaurant is the setting for Allan Pickett's exciting classic French cooking: here you will find a roulade of foie gras paired with strawberries and basil, lobster roll with mango and avocado, and fillet of beef with white asparagus and soy emulsion.
