'A typical "out-in-the-sticks" Fenland pub' is how the owners describe this eighteenth-century watering hole on the B1095 a few miles SW of Peterborough. It's an untarnished kind of place with no juke box, TV screen or fruit machines - but friendly hospitality, a fine choice of real ales and honest, no-frills food.
Food times are ideal for families and there are some great bargains to be had - especially the one-dish 'eat for £5' menu.
