Known locally as 'The Cally', this grand hotel is an Edinburgh institution, a famous landmark standing in the shadow of the castle just a few blocks from the Convention Centre. The elegant Pompadour Restaurant was opened in 1914 and has breathtaking views from its arched windows.
The seasonal menu draws on prime Scottish produce for a repertoire with as noticeable French tilt.
