The Priory Inn Review

When Tanya and Dave Kelly took over this old stone hostelry in Prince Charles' adopted home village (Highgrove is just down the road), they wanted it as a family home, a place where their kids could enjoy themselves and visitors could bring their little ones without any trepidation. The Priory is now a family inn 'par excellence', complete with everything from changing facilities to a 'babyccino' machine in the child-friendly coffee bar (for mugs of caffeine-free, creamy milk froth).

The Kellys also brought in two Gary Rhodes-trained chefs to raise the food stakes and give the cooking some modern British zing.
