Queen's Head Inn & Restaurant Review

The Queen's Head has been dispensing hospitality since the sixteenth century and there are still echoes of the past in its rough oak beams, flagstone floors and handsomely panelled walls.

All manner of produce from the Lake District's fruitful larder finds its way into the kitchen, from slow-maturing Herdwick lamb and traditionally cured Waberthwaite hams to organic trout from Esthwaite Water and pheasant from Graythwaite Estate.
