Green is the name and green is the colour at this tidy neighbourhood restaurant run by brothers Andrew and Simon Green. Close-packed tables and white walls hung with contemporary art set the mood in the intimate dining room, where visitors can look forward to carefully crafted dishes in the modern idiom.
The brothers list their gastronomic influences as Elizabeth David, Jane Grigson and Claudia Roden, although they also gleaned a great deal from time spent in high-rolling London venues including Chez Bruce, Alastair Little and the River Café.
