The most recent branch of the Real Geek mini-chain, this buzzy venue is tucked just around the corner from the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden - making it an ideal spot for a bite to eat before or after the show. Like its siblings, it deals in genuine street food: skewered souvlaki wrapped in sheaths of warm grilled bread are one of the main attractions, and the choice varies seasonally (pork from November to May, lamb, chicken and vegetables at other times of the year).
Mezedes are also perennial favourites, especially at lunchtime: look for little dolmades, salt cod fritters, Feta 'from the barrel' and gigandes plaki (oven-baked Kastorian giant beans in tomato and herb sauce).
