The grand señora of London tapas bars, Rebato's on South Lambeth Road celebrated its twenty fifth birthday in 2009 and it remains one of the most untrendily authentic places of its kind in the capital.

At the front is the bar itself - a dark, intimate, club-like space, with ornate mouldings, thick curtains and tiled floors.
