The Red Fort has been a popular Indian restaurant in Soho since its establishment almost twenty years ago, and it has gone from strength to strength since its recent £1.5 million refurbishment, winning the Time Out Indian Restaurant of the Year in 2003. Under the direction of chef Mohammed Rais, regarded by many as an unsung hero of Indian cooking in London, the restaurant has managed to maintain a reputation for its quality service, fine food and superb (but expensive) wines.
Mohammed Rais, formerly of the Dum Pukht in New Delhi is passionate about Indian cooking.
