A fixture of the Aldeburgh scene since 1992, Regatta is a family-friendly place with a laid-back feel and the emphasis on locally procured and home-smoked ingredients served without fuss.

Given the restaurant's proximity to the sea, it's no surprise that the menu majors in spanking fresh fish: the day's haul is chalked up on blackboards (anything from grilled whole sea bass to tempura of sole with saffron fricassee).
