Rob and Kate John have done a grand job of revitalising this old Welsh farmhouse not far from Caernarfon into a stylish and attractive restaurant-with-rooms surrounded by two acres of grounds. Natural materials and modern fittings have been sympathetically deployed, and the interior now boasts new slate floors and air-conditioning.

The intimate restaurant is located in the recently built, hardwood conservatory, which comes with the bonus of distant sea views and spectacular sunsets.
