Following the success of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage Canteen and deli in Axminster, he has launched a second restaurant at Plymouth's Royal William Yard. The restaurant occupies a Grade I listed building formerly the victualling depot of the Royal Navy, built between 1826 and 1835. It has been developed by Urban Splash, the award winning regeneration company, featuring triple height ceilings and an outdoor terrace with spectacular water views.
The restaurant is headed by Joe Draper who sources the ingredients for his menu from some of the finest South West producers, with a strong emphasis on seasonal ingredients and a 'no compromise' attitude on quality and taste.
