River Cottage Canteen & Deli in the carpet town of Axminister was celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstalll's first foray into restaurants. The venue is divided into three sections, the deli where you can buy a wide selection of fresh local produce, the cafe style dining area and the main restaurant. The tall room has a rustic décor with a stripped wood floor, mismatched chunky wooden tables and chairs with a relaxed casual ambience.
