Over the years, this sturdy stone building has served as a schoolhouse and village pub, but for more than two decades it has been the domain of Chris and Sue Kewley. Despite its proximity to the M1 and the fuel-injected world of Silverstone, it manages to provide peace, relaxation and a feeling of cosseted serenity.

As the name suggests, it is first and foremost a restaurant, with the bonus of accommodation in a separate part of the building.
