An idyllic fourteenth-century inn, the Rose & Crown is an image of an archetypal Norfolk pub with its traditional low ceilings, oak beams and exposed brick work.
The kitchen casts its net wide for a big menu of dishes with plenty of global influences. Expect platters of charcuterie and antipasti, alongside 'classics' (grilled 'black' gammon with hand-cut chips and Heacham duck eggs) and more creative ideas such as chorizo, black pudding and sweet potato mille-feuille, king prawn Thai curry and braised oxtail with white bean puree and parsnip crisps.
