Royal Crescent Hotel, The Dower House Review

Royal Crescent is arguably Britain's finest Georgian terrace and a masterpiece of European architecture: perfect, in fact, for this dreamily elegant, refined and overtly luxurious hotel. After a serious refurbishment, the restaurant in the grey-stone Dower House at the back of the hotel has taken on a new identity – although the views over the leafy secluded gardens are unchanged.

Splendid works of art, distinctive fabrics, mink and light olive colour schemes set the tone in the dining room, which is bathed in natural light from big windows.
