Sachin's Review

A veteran among Newcastle's Indian restaurants, Sachins is tucked away behind Central station, up the hill from the Copthorne Hotel. It's renowned for its exemplary renditions of classic North Indian and Punjabi cuisine, and for its unfailingly courteous service.

The tandoor oven gets plenty of use, taking in everything from chicken and spring lamb to quails and monkfish.
