An imposing Headingley stone townhouse is the unlikely setting for this stylish Thai restaurant (complete with its own driveway and ample car parking). Inside it's spacious and swish, with blue colour schemes, luxuriant greenery and beguiling waitresses dressed in traditional costume.
The menu is a 60-dish run through most of the staples of accessible Thai cuisine, taking in appetisers like fishcakes, chicken in pandan leaves and hor jor (deep-fried crabmeat, prawns and minced pork wrapped in beancurd sheets), soups, spicy salads (including roast duck) and 'Weeping Tiger' (grilled sirloin steak), as well as assorted stir-fries, noodles and curries (try the distinctive 'shu shi' version with mixed seafood).
There's also a better-than-average selection of vegetarian options, ranging from deep-fried sweetcorn cakes to stir-fried aubergines with black bean sauce.
