Sands Hotel, The Watersound Restaurant Review

Originally built as a fish store in 1860, this imposing hotel stands alongside the shore of Scapa Flow, with great views of Burray Harbour, Watersound Bay and South Ronaldsay. Not surprisingly, it's a favourite getaway for tourists, as well as divers who come to explore the wrecks in the nearby waters.

Local seafood and other Orkney produce figures on the dinner menu in the Watersound Restaurant, which has been decked out in suitably nautical style.
