Saram Rom's lavish interior mimics its palatial namesake in Bangkok, and no expense has been spared in an attempt to create the illusion of courtly Thai grandeur in this Fulham restaurant. The dining room is awash with silk wall hangings, hand-carved teak and ethnic porcelain; floor-to-ceiling windows let the light flood in, and there's even a waterfront bar and heated terrace complete with day beds.
The menu might seem a tad tame for those used to the full-on culinary experience out east, but there are some stunners among the list of appetisers, soups, curries and stir-fries.
