Since 1979, the Kikis family has been dispensing their own version of old-school fish cookery in a converted pub on Yarmouth quay. To-drawer fresh seafood remains the star attraction and it can receive plain or elaborately creamy treatment.
A few influences from the family's native Greece appear in the shape taramasalata and baklava, but the bulk of the menu is taken up with things like Mediterranean prawns, lobsters hot or cold, as well as fillets of Dover sole with ham and Dijon mustard sauce, and a few more ambitious global specials including monkfish satay or tuna teriyaki.
Friendly, attentive service and Champagne by the glass help the mood along, while the long, fish-friendly wine list offers good value and sound drinking.
