Nepal comes to Esher in the shape of this fascinating neighbourhood restaurant, The Sherpa Kitchen. It doesn't look much from the outside, but once you pass through the door it opens out like a Tardis, with three floors including a mezzanine level. The décor is clean, neat and minimalist with genuine Nepalese artefacts adding an extra touch of authenticity.
The menu is long and complex with few concessions to western palates – although presentation is precise and artistic.
