In the building that once housed Great Marlborough Street magistrate's court, the aptly named Courthouse Hotel and Silk Restaurant now serves a very different purpose as a pit-stop for international travellers and business people.
It was here that legal wranglings of the Profumo scandal were played out and Mick Jagger was prosecuted for possessing drugs.
