The Silver Plough Review
Set in the heart of the rolling Wiltshire countryside, this fine-looking, scrupulously maintained pub started life in the seventeenth century as a farmhouse and became an inn after World War II. Toby jugs, antique glass rolling pins, painted clogs, prints and curios are festooned around the heavily beamed bar, which is fitted out with old carved benches and settles including Ted Heath's favourite seat!
