Sir Charles Napier restaurant is set in an attractive flint building in a little hillside hamlet above the village of Chinnor in the Chiltern Hills. This delightful award winning restaurant, the recipient of a Michelin star in 2012, has a cosy atmosphere with its open fire, comfy settees and Michael Cooper sculptures of gorillas and lions adding a quirky touch.
The kitchen delivers a seasonal menu that showcases many local ingredients as in wild mushroom risotto or Cornish crab with celeriac remoulade, avocado and crisp apple salad amongst the starters.
