Bollywood meets biryani at Sitaaray a lavish two-storey venue in the heart of Covent Garden's theatreland, which celebrates the virtues and chutzpah of two of India's star turns - cinema and cuisine. Gilded ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, swathes of film memorabilia on scarlet walls, and plasma screens showing back-to-back classic movies make this a glitzy blockbuster for film buffs and partygoers alike - and one of the coolest Indians in town.

The food revolves around 'kababs' and grilled food, with set menus offering nine kebabs, three mini curries and all the necessary accompaniments in the shape of dhal, rice, breads and chutneys.
