Part of the Davy's chain of wine bars and one of a trio on Tooley Street, Skinkers stands underneath the Arches beneath London Bridge station next door to the London Dungeon.
In true Davy's style, the mood is bulldog British with honest grub in the bar and things like char-grilled steaks, Cumberland sausages and fishcakes dominating the restaurant menu: all backed up by Davy's own-label wines and more from the cellar.
In case you are wondering, a 'skinker' is someone who draws wine from a cask and fills the glass.
