Skippers Bistro Review

For more than 25 years, this unassuming bistro has been making a name for itself on Leith waterfront. The building was once a pub, but - as you might guess from the nautical name – the business of the day is now fish cookery.

Menus are written twice daily depending on the catch from Scotland's fishing fleets, although fishcakes with homemade tartare sauce, steamed Shetland mussels and king scallops baked in their shells are ever-present fixtures.
