The Snooty Fox Review
The only pub in the genteel one-road Northamptonshire village of Lowick, the Snooty Fox occupies a handsome sixteenth-century manor house replete with gables and historic appendages. Inside, there are elegant beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and period features aplenty, although the main focus is now on fine-tuned, red-blooded food.
Dominating proceedings is a display counter of prime dry-aged Aberdeen Angus beef (steaks are cut-to-order), plus free-range poultry and fresh fish from the West Country.
