A bastion of the south-west London scene for many years, Sonny's is instantly recognisable with its large front windows and cool green-painted frames. Inside, it sports a trademark glass-topped bar, dim lights, colourful artwork and dividing walls made up of opaque glass 'bricks'.
Tempura of courgette flowers with brandade, pear and orange salad is a typically creative starter, or you might plump for earthy ham hock terrine with homemade piccalilli.
