It's not difficult to spot The Spencer Arms, a bright and breezy new gastro pub, the rather grand-looking Victorian tavern formerly the Putney Page, stands right by the east side of Putney Common and it attracts a lively mix of walkers, midweek grazers, families and so-called 'destination diners'.
Inside, it's been given the Country Living treatment with a large sunlit dining room done out in pastel shades, a relaxed fireside area, book shelves and a games chest, plus a big pavement terrace.
