The Stag is a traditional country village pub set in a picturesque 16th century thatched building in the centre of the historic village of Offchurch, a few miles from Leamington Spa. It has recently undergone a stunning refurbishment in the bar and restaurant areas by new owners Charles Harris and Nigel Brown, who have picked up Les Routiers 2011 Newcomers of the Year Award as well as Winner of the Publican 2010 Best Food Pub of the Year.
Harris and Brown are both alumni of renowned chef Raymond Blanc, Charles trained with Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons near Oxford and The Champignon Sauvage in Cheltenham, while Nigel was part of the team at Le Petit Blanc brasseries in Brimingham and Manchester.
