Like other branches of the ever-expanding Strada chain, this venue is famed for its feel-good atmosphere and chic, cosmopolitan style. It's great for socialising, casual entertaining, a quick bite or a meal out with the kids. A wood-fired oven is the centrepiece and more than a dozen kinds of pizza are an offer, from classic Margherita to Speck (topped with slices of traditional north Italian smoked mountain ham, Gorgonzola, tomato, Mozzarella and rocket).
Apart from designer pizzas at restrained prices, the lengthy menu also features a good line in pasta and risottos (the south Italian seafood version includes squid, mussels, prawns and palourde clams), plus a few main dishes such as char-grilled ribeye steak on the bone with roasted 'cubetti' potatoes or fillet of salmon wrapped in pancetta with braised lentils and mustard dressing.
