Occupying part of the magnificent Edward Everard building on Broad Street, this is the younger sibling of Tatyan's in Cirencester. The bright, airy interior has a strong European feel, thanks to fabrics and design courtesy of the Osborne and Little collection, but the cooking is authentically Chinese.
Well-tried favourites from the Cantonese, Peking and Szechuan triumvirate dominate the menu, so expect a roll-call of dishes such as sweet-and-sour wun tun, aromatic crispy duck and dry-fried shredded beef plus a handful of specials including fried wild sea bass in garlic sauce and Cantonese sesame chicken.
