The London-based Thai Square group recently branched out and opened a new restaurant directly opposite the castle in regal Windsor. It's a stunningly designed venue on two levels, with a large conservatory area bathed in natural light, lots of authentic Thai artefacts and outdoor seating in a beautiful patio area.
Satays, soups, stir fries and curries all feature on the extensive 90-item menu, but it's worth homing in on the list of specials and 'exclusive' dishes like chu chee lobster, larb pla (deep-fried sea bass with ground rice, fish sauce and lime juice) and stewed duck with steamed vegetables.
